IBPS PO Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Probationary Officer (PO/MT-XVI)
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 Notification under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XVI) for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in participating Public Sector Banks. This year, 6,715 vacancies have been announced, making it one of the biggest banking recruitment drives of the year.
IBPS PO Recruitment 2026
The online application process begins on 01 July 2026 and will remain open until 21 July 2026. Eligible graduates from any recognized university can apply online through the official IBPS website. The recruitment process includes a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Personality Test, Interview, and Provisional Allotment.
IBPS has announced a total of 6,715 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in various participating Public Sector Banks. Eligibility Criteria Probationary Officer (PO/MT-XVI)
Education Qualification
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Age Limit
Minimum: 20 years, Maximum: 30 years. i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive). Age Relaxation as per government rules.
Salary / Pay of Scale
Basic: ₹ 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. The official will be eligible for allowances & perquisites as per rules of the Participating Bank in force from time to time.
Application Fees / Intimation Charges
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 01.07.2026 to 21.07.2026 (Only online payment), both dates inclusive] shall be as follows :
- Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Rs. 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others.
Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.
